Overview and Summary
of the 14th Saint Petersburg International Conference
on Integrated Navigation Systems
The regular 14th Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems (14th ICINS)
was held on 28-30 May 2007 by the State Research Center of the Russian Federation Central Scientific
and Research Institute Elektropribor. The Conference was co-sponsored by the Scientific Council of the
Russian Academy of Sciences on the Problems of Motion Control and Navigation, the International Public
Association -
the Academy of Navigation and Motion Control (ANMC),
the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA),
the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE; USA),
l'Association Aeronautique et Astronautique de France (Aaaf),
l'Institut Francais de Navigation (Ifn) and Deutsche
Gesellschaft fuer Ortung und Navigation (DGON) (German Institute of Navigation).
The International
Program Committee
of the Conference included leading specialists from France, Germany, Italy,
Russia and USA.
The Conference languages were English and Russian.
Simultaneous interpretation was provided from Russian into English and from English into Russian.
Specialists from the following 10 states took part in the Conference: Belarus, Czech Republic, France,
Germany, Korea, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine, USA.
342 persons attended the Conference, among them 46 specialists from foreign companies (including
14 persons from Ukraine and 5 persons from Belarus).
Russia was represented by 296 specialists from 25 cities.
Participants of the Conference were delegated by 127 companies: 33 foreign companies
(including 9 organizations of Ukraine and 4 organizations of Belarus) and 94 organizations of Russia.
The Conference sessions titles were as follows:
Integrated Systems,
Satellite Systems,
Inertial Systems and Sensors.
All in all 77 papers were presented at the Conference: 25 plenary and 52 poster ones.
By the decision of the Program Committee
the papers which are of the greatest scientific interest will
be published in the journal "Gyroscopy and Navigation" (in Russian).
In the framework of program "õ.í.î.é.ë." (Youth Scientific and Innovation Contest Participant)
for the first time the Youth Section was organized in the Conference, where 15 papers were presented
at its three Sessions.
The Organizing Committee of the 9th Conference of Young Scientists Navigation and Motion Control delegated
15 persons to the 14th Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems, having relieved
them of paying the Conference fee. 13 persons of them took part in the Conference.
The Conference was held at high scientific and organizational level and was highly estimated by its participants.

The regular 15th Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems (15th ICINS)
will be held on 26-28 May 2008.
Information materials on the 15th ICINS including ONLINE Preliminary registration are available

Requirements for abstracts and their submission terms will be placed on the 15th ICINS web site.
In view of the fact that abstract submission will be done ONLINE via the Conference Management System CoMS-Elektropribor
