Dear Colleagues,

       The Organizing and International Program Committees is glad to inform you that the 18th Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems (18th ICINS 2011) will be held the State Research Center of the Russian Federation - Concern Central Scientific and Research Institute Elektropribor, JSC on 30 May - 01 June 2011.
       This annual conference has become a traditional meeting place for the exchange of ideas between scientists and engineers involved in navigation, motion control and guidance all over the world.

  • Inertial Systems and Sensors
  • GLONASS, GPS, Galileo and Augmentation Systems
  • MEMS
  • Algorithms and Software
  • Testing and Metrology

           The Conference does not cover the issues related to military and technical cooperation, development of military technologies and weapon specimens and military hardware.

           The Conference languages are English and Russian.
           Simultaneous translation will be provided from Russian into English and from English into Russian.
           The Conference program includes plenary and poster presentations.
    Presentation of plenary papers (including discussion) should be no longer than 20 min.
    The authors of poster papers at the plenary session are given 3 min to present the main idea of the paper accompanied by 1-2 slides, if any. Further discussion will continue at the posters.

           Authors wishing to present their papers at the Conference should submit their abstracts of 1,000 words in English before 1 December 2010 - for consideration by the International Program Committee.

           Please be sure to include the following details for each author of the paper:
  • Given name(s), family name,
  • Organization, company or institution,
  • Country,
  • Complete mailing address and e-mail,
  • Phone and fax numbers.

           File of the abstract should be submitted ONLINE via the Conference Management System - CoMS-Elektropribor located on the Conference website:

           Abstracts not complying with the above requirements will not be taken into consideration by the Program Committee.
           Files of the papers included by the Program Committee into the Conference program should be submitted by their authors (in English) ONLINE via the system "CoMS-Elektropribor" by 1 April 2011, for publication in the Conference Proceedings.
           Abstracts and papers are not accepted via e-mail or by fax!

           The conference fee is $450 if it is paid before 1 April 2011 and $500 if the payment is made after 1 April 2011.

           For students and post-graduates the conference fee is reduced to 50%, i.e. $225 and $250, respectively.

           The fee includes:
  • all Sessions,
  • one copy of the Conference Proceedings,
  • lunches, coffee breaks during the 3 days,
  • transportation from/to the airport,
  • transportation to the Conference from the hotels,
  • a sight-seeing guided bus tour of Saint Petersburg,
  • the banquet.

           The conference is held during the White Nights season and opportunities will be made available for sight-seeing tour of St. Petersburg and a visit to the Hermitage. An extensive spouses program for the 3 days including city tours and excursions to the palaces and museums of St. Petersburg and suburbs will also be offered during the Conference at extra cost.
