GENERAL INFORMATION

Dear Colleagues,

The Organizing Committee invites you and your colleagues to take part in the 19th Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems (19th ICINS2012).
The Conference will be held on 28-30 May 2012 at the State Research Center of the Russian Federation - Concern CSRI Elektropribor, JSC, 30, Malaya Posadskaya Ul., Saint Petersburg, Russia (the entrance from 1, Pevchesky per.).
The Conference languages are English and Russian.
Provision will be made for simultaneous interpretation from Russian into English and from English into Russian.
By the decision of the International Program Committee the Conference program includes plenary and poster presentations.
Presentation of plenary papers (including discussion) should be 20 min.
The authors of poster papers at the plenary session are given 3 min to present the main idea of the paper with 1-2 slides, if any; further discussion will continue at the posters.
The Conference fee per person is $450 if it is paid before 1 April 2012 and $500 if the payment is made after 1 April 2012 (students and post-graduates are offered a discount of 50 per cent).
The Conference fee includes:
  • participation in the Conference
  • one copy of the Conference Proceedings (before the Conference begins)
  • a sight-seeing guided bus tour of the city (28 May)
  • lunches, coffee breaks during these 3 days
  • transportation from/to the airport/railway station to/from the hotels
  • transportation to the Conference from the hotels recommended by the Organizing Committee
  • drink reception

    We draw your attention to the fact that commission and charges of our Bank and correspondent banks are paid by the conference participants.
    Please be sure to indicate the code "19th ICINS2012" and the conferee's surname in the bank document.
    The Conference fee can be paid at the registration desk in St. Petersburg in cash only in roubles or by credit cards (NOTE: In this case Conference fee is $500 ($250 for students or post-graduates).
    The following bank cards are accepted:
    EuroCard/MasterCard, edc/Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Diners Club.

    Cheques are not accepted.

    To participate in the Conference, every interested person should fill in the ONLINE Conference Registration form to be available on the Conference website no later than 23 April 2012.

    In accordance with the requirements of the regulations for foreign citizens visiting enterprises in Russia all conferees-to-be should provide the following personal data in advance:
  • full name;
  • country of residence;
  • full name of organization/ educational institution;
  • position;
  • full date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy);
  • citizenship (nationality),
  • passport number.
    In order to avoid misunderstanding, please fill in the Registration form attentively and correctly.


    To enter the Russian Federation, all conference participants and all accompanying persons must get a Russian Visa.
    A Visa is required for all persons who have passports.
    The passport must be valid at least 6 months past the date of your departure from Russia.

    The Organizing Committee strongly recommends that you should start visa formalities in proper time.
    Either a Tourist Visa or a Business Visa can be issued.
    So please find out beforehand what kind of visa you need since it happened that some registrants could not attend the Conference because they had to execute Business Visa instead of the Tourist Visa and failed to get their Invitations and Visas in time.

    The service-agent of the conference will render the conferees and their accompanying persons the following services:
  • preparation of documents for getting the Russian Visas
  • providing transportation
  • making hotel reservations
  • arranging cultural program.

    The Conference is traditionally held in the White Nights season - the high tourist season.
    Please bear in mind that the city authorities and hotel administration had to set exacting requirements concerning the period of time over which the guest (Conference participant) is going to stay at a hotel, terms of payment and cancellation of reserved hotel rooms.
    If you reserve a room on your own and select a hotel not included into the list of recommended hotels we will not be able to guarantee your free bus transportation from the hotel to the Conference and from the drink reception to the hotel.
    The sight-seeing tour of St. Petersburg for the Conference participants will take place on 28 May after the evening session. Experienced guides will make you acquainted with our city history and its architectural sights. The sight-seeing tour language is English.
