INSTRUCTIONS   FOR   PREPARING   POSTERS   OF   POSTER   PAPERS

If you send your posters via e-mail, in order to unify reproduction in printed copies of the posters sent in electronic form, please follow the instructions below:
  • The paper sheet for the poster should not exceed ISO A1 format (841 x 594 mm);
  • Make 30 mm margins at the top and bottom and 25 mm margins on the left and right;
  • The poster should be presented in portrait mode when reproduced on A1 sheets; if it is necessary to present an image in landscape mode, it should be turned by 90o;
  • The following packages can be used for preparing posters in electronic form: CorelDraw 11.0, AutoCAD 14, AutoCAD 2002, Visio 2002, Power Point 2000, Power Point XP;
  • text on posters must be written in English;
  • Times New Roman, Symbol and Arial fonts should be used for representing text information;
    Both gray-scale and colour pictures can be used on posters.

    Please keep in mind that stands for placing posters will be arranged at the plenary sessions. Poster paper titles, authors' names and organizations will be indicated on them.
    If you bring your posters along with you, please take the following into account:
  • Each paper sheet for the poster (no more than 2 sheets total) should not exceed ISO A1 format (841 x 594 mm);
  • Inscriptions to photographs, diagrams and tables should be readable from a distance of 1.5 - 2 m.
  • You should talk over with Mr. Victor Tok who is responsible for the Conference technique,
    in the Conference Room some time before the morning session begins.

    It is desirable that the posters be vivid, graphic and not overloaded with text and formulas.
