1. The paper should be written in English and submitted as a file with a filename extension doc. The file size should be less than 2 Megabytes.

2. The paper should be preceded with an abstract of about 1,000 characters and 3-5 key words or word combinations.

3. The first page should contain the following information for each author: degree, position, company, E-mail address, fax and telephone numbers.

4. The total length of the plenary paper should be 8-10 pages.

5. In order to unify texts of the papers in the Symposium Proceedings, please follow the instructions below:

typeset the text using a computer in Word 2000, 2003 for Windows in A4 format;

the format of the typeset page must be 160x240 mm;

when typesetting, make a 25 mm margins on the page top, bottom, left and right;

use Times New Roman font, size 10 pt for the main body of the text; size 9 pt for the abstract;

for formulas use the Equation 3.0 editor, font Times New Roman or Symbol, size 10; for subscripts and superscripts - size 8; Roman letters should be typed in italics, Greek letters - Roman type;

insert illustrations, where necessary, using computer graphics in one of raster formats, preferably bmp with the colour depth of 1 bit; photographs should be presented in the raster format tif or jpg in gray-scale mode; their components should be informative and well-distinguishable, inscriptions in the illustrations should be easily readable.

6. The arrangement and lay-out of the text elements are illustrated in the sample paper enclosed.

7. Below the text please indicate the authors' consent for publication of their paper, with the date and signatures, and the corresponding author's name and contact details.

8. The paper texts prepared according to the requirements above should be submitted to the Symposium Organizing Committee no later than 1 October 2010 via the Conference Management System CoMS-Elektropribor located on the Symposium web site: http://www.elektropribor.spb.ru/cnf/tg-smm2010/enfrset.html
