22nd Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems
The Organizing and International Program Committees of the 22nd Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems (22 ICINS 2015) invite specialists in the field of navigation and motion control to take part in the Conference.
The Conference will be held by the State Research Center of the Russian Federation – Concern Central Scientific and Research Institute Elektropribor, JSC on 25-27 May 2015.
This annual conference has become a traditional meeting place for the exchange of ideas between scientists and engineers involved in navigation, motion control and guidance all over the world.
CONFERENCE LANGUAGES
The Conference languages are English and Russian.Simultaneous translation will be provided from Russian into English and from English into Russian.
The Conference program will include plenary and poster presentations.
Three invited papers and Panel Discussion are scheduled.
Proposals for the topics of Panel Discussion are accepted by the Program Committee.

CONFERENCE FEES
The Conference fee is $450 if paid before 01 April 2015 and $500 if paid after 01 April 2015. For students and post-graduates the conference fee is reduced by 50%: $225 and $250 respectively. The fee includes all sessions, one copy of Conference Proceedings, airport transfer to and from the hotels, transfer from the recommended hotels to the Conference venue, sight-seeing guided tour of Saint Petersburg, daily lunches and coffee breaks during three Conference days, drink reception (on 26 May), transfer to the drink reception and from the drink reception to the recommended hotels.

On 25-27 May 2015 the 22nd Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systemswas held by the Scientific Research Center of Russia – Concern CSRI Elektropribor, JSC.
The Conference was held with support of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on Motion Control and Navigation Problems, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the International Public Association – the Academy of Navigation and Motion Control, National Research University ITMO, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (USA), L’Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France, L’institut Français de Navigation, Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Ortung und Navigation (DGON) (German Institute of Navigation), and Journal Gyroscopy and Navigation.
The International Program Committee formed of the leading scientists from France, Germany, Russia, and USA, headed the Conference.
The Conference languages were English and Russian.
Provision was made for simultaneous interpretation from Russian into English and from English into Russian..
Participants represented 22 foreign companies and 78 organizations of Russia.
5 young scientists were delegated to the Conference without payment of Conference fee by the Organizing Committee of the 17th Conference of Young Scientists Navigation and Motion Control (held mainly in Russian).
Conference presentations were distributed between the following 4 Sessions:

Inertial Systems and Sensors
Satellite Systems
The Conference format comprised invited, plenary and poster papers.
At the Conference sessions 99 papers were presented: 2 invited, 19 plenary (including 1 (Finland) in video conference format) and 78 poster papers.
The papers which evoked the greatest interest will be published in the journal Giroskopiya i Navigatsiya ("Гироскопия и навигация" (ISSN 0869-7035) published by the State Research Center of Russia - Concern CSRI Elektropribor*) and in the English version of this journal GYROSCOPY AND NAVIGATION (ISSN 2075-1087).
Some papers selected by the editorial board of IEEE Aerospace & Electronics Systems Magazine will be published in it.

Both papers evoked the great interest of the Conference attendees.
The authors of poster papers at the plenary session were given 3 min to present the main idea of the paper with 1-2 slides, if any; further discussion of papers was continued at the posters.
Participants eagerly exchanged their opinions in informal discussions at the posters and on the sidelines of the Conference.
During the breaks, exhibition of books and journals and other publications by CSRI Elektropribor and other organizations aroused great interest.
After the Conference closing ceremony on 27 May a Panel Discussion Methods for Navigation Sensor Performance Determination was organized.

Accuracy of Sensor Bias Estimation and its Relationship with Allan Variance
Published event information, oral announcements and invitations have significantly affected the attendance at the Panel Discussion. The big Conference room of CSRI Elektropribor was full of the audience. For representatives of Russia, Ukraine and Finland who could not attend the Panel Discussion in person the webcast with 8 interconnection points was organized.
All the interested persons could join the Panel Discussion free of charge.
After the 3 papers were presented their discussion started.
The papers presented evoked the great interest of the Panel Discussion attendees. After the main speakers 8 persons more made their speeches.
Materials of the Panel Discussion (papers in Russian and in English) are available on the conference website. The general access to these papers has been provided on the Russian and on the English versions of the website).
By the Conference beginning of the Conference Proceedings containing full texts of plenary and poster papers were published in English ("22nd Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems" (ISBN978-5-91995-023-3)) and in Russian ("XXII Sankt-Peterburgskaya mezhdunarodnaya konferentsiya po integrirovannym navigatsionnym sistemam (ISBN978-5-91995-025-7).
The Russian volume comprised the papers by the Russian-speaking authors from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia.
In addition to the Proceedings book each conferee has got a CD-ROM comprising the Conference Proceedings (in two languages together).
The Panel Discussion papers in English were published as a separate edition.
For the conferees and their accompanying persons a sight-seeing guided tour was organized including boat trip along the rivers and channels of St. Petersburg and the visit to the Cathedral of Our Savior on the Spilt Blood - no. 1 in the Russian rating of sites in 2015, no. 5 in the European rating and no. 12 in the world list of culture sites awarded Traveler's Choice prize of the world’s main travel website TripAdvisor.
The tour participants enjoyed it very much and thanked the Organizing Committee for the interesting and informative tour.
The Conference was held at a high scientific and organizing level and was highly estimated by its participants.
*The journal is published quarterly. It is included in the list of the leading reviewed scientific journals and editions in which the main scientific results of candidate’s or doctoral theses must be published.
The regular 23rd Saint Petersburg International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems (23 ICINS 2016)will be held on 30 May – 1 June 2016.

Guidelines for paper abstract preparation and submission for abstract reviewing will be also available on the 23 ICINS 2016 website after 20 Aug. 2015.

Abstract submission deadline is 1 November 2014.
The abstract should state the goal, principal points and conclusions of the study.
Avoid abbreviations unless commonly accepted ones (e.g. GPS, GLONASS, etc.).
The use of references, figures, and formulas is not recommended.
AUTHOR’S FAMILY NAME PRECEDED BY INITIALS OF HIS/HER FIRST NAME(S) (IN CAPITAL LETTERS),

- paper title (in bold letters),
