Communication system Distancia-E

The system is intended for submarine/coastal command post communication, as well as communication with any type of interacting and support forces.
   The system provides:
     in underwater position:
  • radio reception in VLF, LF, MF and HF wave bands on a trailing towed array;

  •      in periscope and surface position:
  • duplex voice communication and continuous wave telegraphy in HF and VHF wave bands;
  • radio reception in VLF, LF, MF, HF and VHF wave bands on extendable antennas and in VLF on a crossed-loop antenna;
  • satellite communication in INMARSAT-C system;
  • reception of satellite navigation system signals;
  • reception of signals from Shore Radio Navigation Systems (Omega, Loran-C);
  • control of the system's communication facilities, monitoring of their state, reception and transmission of messages, their documenting and archiving from a unified workstation.
  • It is possible to replace a cable antenna, trailed out of the submarine pressure hull, in submerged position.

    Minimum power consumption in underwater position.
    Backup control of communication facilities.
