MARKER-M. Electronic Chart Display Information System (ECDIS)

INTENDED PURPOSES:

• Automation of navigator’s operations to ensure the safety of navigation and to perform other navigation tasks, with the results display on electronic navigation charts (ENCs)
• Reception, processing and display of information from interfacing systems and databases
• Information transmission to interfacing systems.

Marker-M complies with the requirements of  IEC 61174 ed.4.0.

The article uses approved ENCs produced in accordance with the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) Standards S-57 Rev. 3.1.2 and S-63 Rev. 1.1. Charts in C MAP format can also be used.

THE SYSTEM PROVIDES:

• Solutions to the full scope of navigation problems in accordance with the IMO and RMRS requirements
• Input of ENCs supplied in accordance with the IHO standards S-57 Rev. 3.1.2 and S-63 Rev. 1.1, their conversion into the system ENC (SENC), and the SENC storage
• Displaying all the information contained in the SENC in accordance with the Standard S-52
• Operation in the coordinate systems SK-42, GSK-2011, WGS-84, quasi-geographic coordinate system (QGCS), as well as switching between the coordinate systems, including PZ-90, PZ-90.11
• ENC updating
• Check of proper storage of the ENC and updates; different imaging of the ENC data, updates and all other information on the display
• Hardware checks and tests of the equipment

Upon the Customer’s request, the system can be delivered with a power supply unit and a battery-based standby power supply device, for connecting to the ship AC mains 50 Hz 220 V or DC mains 175 – 320 V.
