Description
Advantages

Is designed for transmission of COSPAS-SARSAT SOS signals from the submarine in distress.

The article can be used at all sailing depth ranges for submarines of 3-4 generation.

  • The article can be used at all sailing depth ranges for submarines of 3-4 generation
  • Radio buoy is automatically released on the pressure sensor signal if the limiting submergence depth is exceeded
  • Radio buoy is automatically released on the flooding sensor signal if the pressure in submarine compartment reaches 0.8-0.9 MPa (from 8 to 9 kg/cm2 )
  • Radio buoy is released when the submarine is at zero to limiting submergence depth on the operator command from the central post, or from other one or two compartments from releasing and control unit
  • Radio buoy can be released and emerged at submarine heel and trim up to ±90° that is provided by the forced releasing device, in which the buoy is installed
  • After the buoy is released and emerged its upper part is shot off, the buoy case is flooded, and the radio system starts functioning for 48 hours at the frequencies 406.025 MHz and 121.5 MHz in COSPAS-SARSAT system
